Picnic Potluck
We will be kicking off the summer with a picnic potluck on Sunday, June 7 following the 10:00 service. The church will provide brats and hot dogs, buns, condiments, etc. There will also be ice cream treats for dessert! Bring a side dish to pass.
COS Book Club
Join us for a discussion of The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. All COS readers are welcome! Read the book beforehand, and then come ready to share in a thoughtful conversation as we reflect on the story and how it connects to our own lives of faith. Snacks will be provided.

Easter Worship
Easter Festival worship at Christ our Savior at 8:30 and 10:45 am. We celebrate the resurrection with special music and a gospel-focused message. This service is livestreamed and posted on the COS YouTube channel.
Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Good Friday tenebrae worship. The lights in the sanctuary slowly dim as we meditate on Jesus’ words from the cross using special readings, hymns, and choral selections.
Holy Thursday Worship
Holy Thursday worship with Holy Communion. The service concludes with the stripping of the altar.

Celebrate the good news of Easter with a one day VBS-style event for children in PreK 3’s—4th grade.

Join us for a race through downtown Rockford completing a variety of fun and challenging tasks along the way. We will meet at the dam at 3:00.
Women's Self-Defense
This class equips women (ages 12 and up) with essential awareness skills, practical self-defense techniques, and confidence to stand strong in any situation. This cost of the class is $50. Sign up at cosrock.org/self-defense.
